New iPhone Release: 8, 8 Plus and iPhone X

Apple’s release of its latest creations are in line with current trends and also setting some new ones.

iPhone 8 and 8 Plus: consumer pre-order 15-09-17 and available 22-09-17
iPhone X: consumer pre-order 27-10-17 and available 03-11-17

What’s Everyone Talking About

While the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus are similar in appearance to their predecessors 6 and 7, there are improvements to the “guts” and durability of the device. With its toughened glass exterior – both back and front, aluminium band, water and dust resistance and comes in a choice of gold, silver and space grey. Wireless charging is also a new feature for iPhone and the speaker upgrade boasts a 25 percent increase in volume and deeper base. Both devices have a 12 megapixel camera with new stabilisation features for photos and videos and the 8 Plus has 10x optical zoom for photos and 6x for videos. Finally, the A11 Bionic, the fastest CPU that Apple has developed to date.

What’s Everyone Excited About

The iPhone X is what Apple lovers are salivating over. All the features of the iPhone 8 with added extras of a 5.8 edge to edge screen, new swipe control, rather than a home button and facial recognition surpassing the previous fingerprint unlocking.
